Empowering Emerging Adults Toward Independent,
Confident Lives

Brightstone supports neurodivergent emerging adults in gaining real-world skills and self-assurance through coached experience, integrated clinical support, and personalized growth plans for families seeking a safe, structured, and successful transition.

Confidence. Community. Capability.

Outcome Highlights

  • Two men cooking together in a kitchen with fresh vegetables on a cutting board and a bowl of salad.

    Practical Independence

Emerging adults at Brightstone gain confidence through real-life routines—learning to grocery shop, prepare meals, manage a budget, and take care of their personal living space. These foundational skills are practiced daily to build habits that support long-term autonomy.

  • A woman presenting in front of a group of people during a meeting, with colorful sticky notes on a whiteboard.

    Educational & Vocational Success

We support each emerging adult in pursuing post-secondary education, part-time employment, or internships—offering personalized coaching to help them set goals, navigate systems, and show up with confidence in academic and work environments.

  • Two women are sitting on a concrete sidewalk outside, drawing on a large white poster with pink paint. One woman has curly red hair, is wearing a black cap and black clothes, and is using a paintbrush. The other woman has blonde hair tied back, is smiling, and is wearing a dark green jacket and black pants. A colorful palette and a bowl of water are on the ground near them.

    Emotional & Social Growth

Through mentorship, structured group experiences, and clinically informed one-on-one support, our emerging adults build emotional regulation, form healthy relationships, and develop a meaningful sense of belonging.

“Brightstone has been a life changer! When I was back home, my parents would drive me everywhere, pay for everything, cook for me, dry my hair, provide medication, and get me groceries, etc. Now, after coming to Brightstone, I’m taking WegGo’s/Uber’s on my own, cooking for myself, calling the pharmacy for myself, staying on a budget, getting myself up, drying my own hair, etc. When I was back home because I couldn’t take care of myself properly, my parents thought I wasn’t college-ready. But since coming to Brightstone, I am on track to attend college in January 2027.”
